This page shows our wedding videographers in Sarasota at some of the most popular wedding venues. All of our video packages include either a Long Version or raw footage of your wedding video that is usually 9omin-2 1/2 hours long. We give you the choice of having your wedding delivered on DVD or Blu Ray.
We begin our wedding videographers Sarasota tour (which includes Bradenton & Palmetto) at the Powel Crosley Estate located near the New College Campus on the border of Sarasota & Bradenton. The Powel Crosley Estate, one of Sarasota’s most popular waterfront venues, built-in 1926, provide an upscale elegant intimate atmosphere for your wedding. On the inside there are also many areas including the ship room, a circular tower “lighthouse style” antique wooden room allows for some artistic photography. On the outside a huge banyan tree, mediterranean style architecture, and the Intracoastal Waterway. The warm glow of the sky during dusk in the courtyard are spectacular, as you can see in this picture (right). There so many areas to shoot in here, that we can usually never cover all of them in any one wedding. Therefore, it is recommended, to allow plenty of time for photography to really take advantage of this beautiful estate. The cinematic video below shows some of the different areas that are great for wedding photos.
Across the Manatee River from Bradenton sits a very popular outdoor wedding venue that will host weddings for up to 100 guests. The Palmetto Riverside Bed & Breakfast, is a charming, romantic, and simply gorgeous venue on the Manatee River with its own Pier and intimate courtyard for the reeption. The owners Wim and Meike. a sweet couple from Belgium, are very helpful, they have all great reviews online, they obviously give every bride first class service, it really shows. It is great for wedding Photography & Video with a huge oak trees on the front lawn, a elegant bay window on the inside, Vintage (1918) house, and pier for great sunset pictures. It allows so much variety for wedding photography.
Bakers Ranch is located just east of Bradenton. It provides a nice whimsical garden with sprawling oak trees. Bakers Ranch also has a nice indoor air-conditioned elegant ballroom, as well as a nice bride room for getting ready. For more information on weddings at Bakers Ranch see https://www.bakersranch.com/. Another natural setting for a wedding about 30 minutes south of Sarasota is Bay Preserve at Osprey which sits right on the water.
Mixon’s in the Grove, also known as Mixon’s Fruit Farm, is one of our favorite wedding venues in Manatee County. It is located just south of Highway 64 near I-75 in Bradenton, Florida. There are so many opportunities for some creative and unique wedding photos and video.
The beautiful garden gazebo, with the Koi Pond, Waterfull, and lush tropical greenery makes great backgrounds and will make your colors “pop”. Tall vegetation surrounds the property at Mixon’s, so there is no major backlighting issues to deal with. The orange grove provides some great farm scenery, which we like to utilize for some playful shots. The “Mixon’s in the Grove Mural” offers a very colorful backdrop. The stack of wooden crates allows some creative “vintage wedding” photos. The garden walking path with a variety of landscaping, offers several areas for some great wedding photography.
Walk down the aisle amidst nature’s beauty and unparalleled botanical bliss at the next stop on our wedding videographers Sarasota tour. Selby Gardens, nestled on the shores of beautiful Sarasota Bay is a tropical urban oasis. It is surrounded by tropical landscapes, tall banyan trees and oaks, which offer plenty of shade. The walls of the Christy Payne Mansion are like a studio backdrop. The garden’s main large ceremony area is the Wedding Lawn & Pavilion, one of seven areas for a wedding.
The Ritz-Carlton (video at top of page) and Hyatt Regency (below) are two popular hotel wedding venues in Sarasota. The new Westin Sarasota (below left) now also offers a great view of the Sarasota Marina. The beautiful Palm Terrace at the Hyatt Regency (below right) is a vibrant tropical garden courtyard (video below), which is very popular for wedding ceremonies. Also on property is a cave waterfall which also offers opportunities for exotic wedding photography.
Our wedding videographers Sarasota tour would not be complete without mentioning some of the highest rated beaches in the country. Siesta Key Beach (video below) and Lido Key Beach are very popular for destination weddings and for good reason. Anna Maria Island in Manatee County, with its white sandy beaches and warm temperatures, is considered a “hidden gem,” the sleepy island providing a rare slice of “Old Florida”. Ponce de Leon named the island for Maria Anna von der Pfalz-Neuburg, the queen of Charles II of Spain, the sponsor of his expedition. The most popular wedding venue on Anna Maria is the Sandbar, a beach restaurant well-known for its great reviews on its food. The Sandbar is a nice quaint venue on the beach, with an open air covered pavilion for the reception. The ceremonies are on the beach in front of the covered pavilion, so very convenient for guests, everything is located in the same area. Patti is the coordinator and has done many weddings so very good with the brides. Siesta Key is very popular for its destination weddings.
All Wedding Video Packages get the Long Version, which will have all your wedding footage, as well as the highlight video, if included in your package. On the long version, you will hear all the music during the ceremony and the dancing of the reception, it captures the essence of the day. The highlghts are 5-9 minute cinematic videos. Many videographers are hesitant about doing weddings on beaches, because the damage that sand can do to cameras; not so with us, we love beach weddings and will work hard to get creative shots like you see below. On Beach weddings, it takes an experienced videographer that knows how to adjust his camera with extreme the”brightness issues”, which the Florida sun and the white sand.
