Rustic yet Elegant Wedding at Lange Farm in Pasco County

Wedding at Lange Farm

Hill-Beers-151Wedding of Victoria Hill and Dylan Beers at the Lange Farm in Dade City, Florida.  For some wedding locations, when it is overcast, it can really affect the photography, but at Lange Farm, there is so much color that if anything, the overcast skies actually help.  It keeps it from being overly bright, less backlighting issue, and much cooler for the bridal party. The rain held off just in time, as it started raining about 5 minutes after ceremony had ended.  After about 20 minutes of light rain, we were able to go back outside to do the portraits.   On this wedding at Lang Farm,  Joe did the photography, Randy the video & uplighting,  and Chancey was the DJ.  The rain held off just in time, as it started raining about 5 minutes after ceremony had ended.

Uplighting at Lange FarmLange Farm, located just north of Tampa, is a perfect venue for a country wedding, but yet still maintain a feeling of elegance. From the Garden house with large chandeliers to the rustic setting of the Antique Barn, there are so many opportunites for artistic wedding photography. The bride Victoria, booked the whole venue for her wedding which was great because we had access to the whole property, although rain had limited some of our shooting. The ceremony was at the Big Oak Tree on the far side of the field.  Victoria was escorted to the ceremony site in a 1951 Bentley. The reception was in the garden house where we provided pink uplighting to light up the door frames. http://celebrationsoftampabay.com/uplighting-in-tampa/

We used 5 cameras and a drone for this wedding at Lange Farm so we didn’t miss a thing. We mounted one GoPro in a tree to give unique angle, and well as having on GoPro in the ground shooting up to show the huge oak tree. With cameras everywhere, we capture some great shots that I did not realize until I put the footage on computer.  For example the Wedding at Lange FarmBentley pulling up as the bride and groom were being pronounced “husband & wife”.  We used the drone differently than we typically do when shooting weddings here. Due to the property being covered by trees, the high aerial shots are not so great,, so we fly more at ground level and go under the trees, across the fields, and over the rock wall etc.
