Nautical Spanish Themed Wedding at South Florida Museum
A nice intimate, soft lit Spanish Courtyard provided a great atmosphere on this wedding at South Florida Museum of Winter & Kyle Bosanko. The bridesmaids held lanterns, similar to the lanterns that decorate the courtyard. A tradition that dates back to Biblical times. As a photographer, we love this venue because there are so many great backgrounds for photos. The beautiful red “castle style” wooden doors, a fountain, the lamp posts, spanish columns & arches, iron gates, and the stringed mini lights provide a photographer with opportunities for artistic photography.
For the ceremony the bride and groom tied a fisherman’s knot to symbolize their unity for their marriage. When the officiant asked the guests “will you support this couple in their marriage?”, the bridesmaids through their hands up in a rolling wave, as you see on the video. This is the advantage of having multiple cameras as we were not aware of these events before the wedding, but because we had cameras covering every angle, we captured it all on video.
Celebrations of Tampa Bay provided the photographer, videographer, and DJ for this wedding. For more information on weddding in the Bradenton area see our Sarasota Photographer Page.
