Wedding at Little Harbor – Kelly & Jeff

This video could be titled, “Georgia girl marries nurse for family prone to accidents.”  Kelly & Jeff met in the small town of Waycross, GA. Kelly grew up in the nearby town of Blackshear and had recently relocated back to the area to be closer to family. Jeff had recently moved to the area to start his first nurse practitioner job. They met while working at the local hospital together. Sharing many common interests, they hit it off immediately. Jeff took the smalltown girl to travel to many big cities. Kelly introduced Jeff to the love of fishing. They both value family deeply. Jeff has three sons and Kelly has a daughter. Jeff asked Kelly for “forever” on New Years Day on the beach and Kelly said “yes”. They were married in June at the Sunset Grill at Little Harbor Resort. .

Little Harbor Resort is such a great venue for a wedding. It is not over-crowded with the public like many of the beaches on the other side of the bay in Pinellas County. As a photographer we think it is great also because it has everything you need for backgrounds for a nautical themed wedding. The pier which you see in the pictures on this video just makes a great background during sunset. Also if you are not crazy about getting in the sand, they have a couple of nice gazebos in the grass near the pier. On this wedding we also utilized the rocky area surrounding the boardwalk. The ballroom has a great view of the water, which is something many beach venues do not have. We have often during weddings where the formal dances are a dusk, just a spectacular background from the ballroom. There are plenty of hotel rooms on property, which makes it ideal for a destination wedding. Parking is convenient something you do not see at the Pinellas County Beaches. The food is great, the staff is nice, and oh, the sunsets are awesome (as you can see)…hence the name Sunset Grill at Little Harbor.
