Wedding at Davis Island Garden Club
Beautiful Tampa Waterfront Venue
Navy & Blush Colors used for this Wedding at Davis Island Garden Club
Beautiful day at the Davis Island Garden Club for the wedding of Lindsey & Andrew Meyer shot by our Tampa Videograpehers.
There was some great raw emotion from the father of the bride as he sees Lindsey in her dress for the first time. I just love it when guys express emotion, its shots like that on this video that I live for. I have learned as a videographer to always keep an eye on parents. It is neat to see the progression of their emotions thoughout the day; you can almost see them reliving the years of their daughter or son growing up and the realization that it has culminated on this wedding day. As for Lindsey & Andrew, obviously a good looking couple and both showing a great love for their families. I have shot many weddings at this venue, but this was my first wedding at Davis Island Garden Club in about 3 years with the ceremony and reception being there. The ceremony is in such a beautiful area surrounded by lush tropical and sub-tropical plants, and a gazebo right on the waterfront in downtown Tampa.
We started at the Epicurean Hotel, which is a great hotel for getting ready, it beats the crowded Downtown Tampa Hotels, offers some great areas for photos. The pictures here were taken from the video. The photographer was Marissa Moss Photography , her and her husband were great to work with. Ben with Grant Hemond & Associates was the DJ. He is one of the most personable DJs you will find and really knows how to connect with the crowd, as well as having great timing with music. The string trio was by Strings Attached, very good, although the music on this highlight video was not from them, we feature their music in the full video of this wedding at Davis Island Garden Club below. I am rarely impressed with wedding cordinators, but thought Chrissy Craft with Ideal Design Events was really on top of things and yet at the same time didn’t interfere with the photography & video. Lindsey chose great colors, Navy & Blush which provided a great contrast with the colorful garden backgrounds. Just so nice when you have great experience professionals on a wedding, everything flows very smooth and most important the bride and groom end up happy.
Thanks to NeedtoBreath for copyrights to “Something Beautiful” and Analog Heart & Marie Hines for copyrights to “When I’m With You”. 2 great songs that really fit well for this video.
