Wedding at St Martha – Powel Crosley Estate Sarasota

So much with a great video is dependent upon things which are beyond our control.  On this weddings all those things were very favorable.  A bride and groom who not only were very beautiful but more importantly very cooperative.  They had a schedule which allowed the Photographer & Videographer (me) plenty of time.  They were on time.  The weather was good.  The church wasn’t overly restrictive, allowed us to do what we needed to do.  This is all a recipe for a great video and photography.

Cory & Mariela first met while studying abroad in England during law school. A few months later, while in class together back in Florida, Cory finally gathered up the courage to ask Mariela out on a date. They went to a restaurant in downtownn Gulfport called Peg’s. They didn’t know it then, but 3 and a half years later they would be traveling together to Mexico City for a weekend getaway. It was there, in Parque Espana (and in the rain!) that Cory asked Mariela to be his wife. They were married in February of 2020 at St Martha Catholic Church in Sarasota, and the reception under a beautiful Florida evening sky on the lawn at the Powel Crosley Estate.
