Recetion at The Regent Wedding Venue in Riverview, Florida

It was nice after doing weddings on both the east and west coast to end the crazy busy season with a wedding on our home turf at Nativity Catholic Church in Brandon and reception at The Regent in Riverview.

Nativity Catholic Church is one of the best Catholic churches for wedding photography and video. The lighting is very good. There is a low wall behind the alter area where you can shoot from. We used a drone for aerial shots, descending down from the sky over the crosses. The drone also worked great for the grand exit infront of the stylish iron gates on the front of the church.

The Regent is a high end relatively new wedding venue technically in Riverview, but right on the border of Brandon, Florida. It has the nicest dance floor of any wedding venue in the Tampa Bay Area, great for a Latin crowd such as this that loves to dance. We also like the surroundings of the Regent, in the south east corner of a unique community known as Winthrop. There are plenty of opportunities for wedding photography with a open field and trees on the back side of the venue.
