We show Chicago in 4 way, by drone, helicopter, street level mirrorless camera, and goPro. Many thanks to Gary City Helicopters for some of the shots in this video. We used 3 Cameras. A Sony a7iii with a stabilizer, a GoPro 6, and some of the aerials were with a Phantom 4 Pro V2 Drone. available here
We show Chicago in 3 sections on this video. The Sunrise, the Day in Downtown, and the Dusk (which the shots are incredible). When visiting Chicago its best to be on a Bike or a Kayak or both, or just walk and use the L Train (CTA), which we feature in this video. Urban Kayaks provide rentals for $45/hour, which was great, highlighly reccomend it. When the City Lights come up, it has to be one of the most spectacular city skyline, I’d say even better than New York. See the final third of the video to see what I’m talking about. I rarely like to stay in Downtown Hotels, but in Chicago its the best way to do it. Downtown is very safe, and you want to be in walking distance or at least closee to the L Train. We stayed at the Sheraon Grand which if you do it certain times of years you can get deals. We were lucky to have a room on the 30th Floor facing the Skyline, just in incredible view. Many people want the Lake Front view, but at Nighttime theres nothing to see, whereas on the Skyline side, the City puts on a show for you with its lighted Skyscrapers.
We also feature but Wrigley Field, and Guaranteed Rate Field, formaly, US Cellular Field, formerly Comiskey Park. We also shot Soldier Field from the Helicopter, but that footage was just too shaky to put on this video.
