Tiffany & Matthew take their vows very serious, check out the Cake Topper at 5:41 on this video a Skull and bones cake topper, very creative, added some ghoulish music to go with it. It is only fitting for Tiffany & Matthew as “howl O Scream” played a role in them uniting as a couple, so I had to add in some appropriate music. A unique video at this historic Tampa Landmark; used a mixture of 20’s & 30’s music with some theatrical scores and found a way to even add a “gangster hip” song Love shooting at Tampa Theatre allows me to play with some Soft Contrast, B&W, and Vignetting. Still Photography shot by our Photographer in Tampa Joe.

Wedding at Tampa Theatre

If you are looking for a perfect wedding venue for a Vintage Wedding in Tampa, than The Tampa Theatre is for you. Built in 1926 as one of the country’s most elaborate movie palaces, the Tampa Theatre has so many great areas for wedding photography.
This was the wedding of Tiffany & Matthew Colon, stills shot by Joe and video by Randy.

Tiffany & Matthew met for the 1st time at 11 years old at Pierce Middle School, they become friends and remained friends throughout high school. Matt picked on Tiffany a lot for being short but she held her own. After graduation they went years without contact, until one tequila filled night at Howl O’ Scream. Tiffany was able to cast a spell on Matthew, forever blinding him with love.
The Tampa Theatre combines a gothic architectural design with vintage romance and glamorous opulence. Inside the theatre, which we have flown a drone in a couple of times, they is a realistic night sky filled with twinkling stars to add to the romantic atmosphere. We love shooting at Tampa Theatre, and although didn’t not have much time before the wedding, we made good use of time after the wedding taking advantage of this historical landmark.

The reception was at the newly opened Tampa Armature Works Building, a fully restored mixed-use building that breathes new life into the historic Tampa Heights neighborhood.  It sits right on the Hillsborough River which gave us great shots for sunset.  There is currently a lot of contruction around, however this is an impressive re-development area around this historic part of Downtown.
