November Wedding in Dunedin
Groom Writes Song for Bride on this Wedding at Honeymoon Island
An emotional Christ-centered ceremony on wedding at Honeymoon Island of Krystal & Dave Misola. Dave wrote the song that opens this video and Kystal sings the song that she walks down the aisle too. Some excellent Salsa Dancing for the reception. We were not allowed to light sparklers because of park rules so our photographer Joe, came up with a great idea, using cell phones, to light up the stairs as the Krystal & Dave exited for their honeymoon.
Honeymoon Island is a great beach for wedding photography. This is an island that sits out in the ocean on the end of the Dunedin Causeway. The ocean in this area tends to have a little more color to it than what you see in Clearwater or St Pete Beach. If you are having a wedding at Honeymoon Island we recommend to block of the area of the beach around the ceremony site. As sometimes tends to happen when you don’t block of the ceremony site, you’ll get a unsitely person in speedos watching in the background. We love all the Sea Oates and natural habitats around the island that provides good opportunities for a creative photographer. In this wedding we just ran out of daylight.
The ceremony was on the North Beach at Honeymoon Island and the reception at the South Beach Pavilion. The South Beach Pavilion is a great place for a reception as it has a nice view of the gulf of mexico, although the space can be tight if you are having more than 60 guests. It does tend to get a little windy in this pavilion. The bride had a Latin Band as well our DJ, Randy.
Kyrstal also had a neat idea, as an alternative to the guest book, she had Vinyl Records of the important songs in her wedding that the guests signed.
