Sky Terrace Provides an Amazing View for Guests on Weddings at Hyatt Regency Clearwater

Our latest wedding at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach had to be moved indoors due to rain.  This was the 3rd wedding this year in which this has happened.  As a result for this blog we wanted to include 2 other weddings where the ceremony was held on the 16th floor Sky Terrace.

The most recent wedding was a sweet Vietnamese couple,  Phuong & Charles Lee.  Although the ceremony had to be moved indoors,  we found a break in the weather and were able to do some pictures on the Sky Terrace.  Jamie, our photographer, and myself were ready for the rain with the Nubrellas (a hands free unbrella).  Phuong & Charles were great sports when we put the Nubrellas on them for a shot.  For more information on weddings at Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach see http://clearwaterbeach.hyatt.com/en/hotel/weddings.html

For the other two weddings in this blog, the ceremony was on the Sky Terrace on the 16th floor of the Hyatt Regency Clearwater, which offers the best view on of Clearwater Beach you will find. The wedding guests can look to the west and see the Gulf of Mexico & Clearwater Beach, and look to the east and see the Intra-Coastal Waterway and Clearwater Beach. For the video, we used a drone, to capture aerial video for the opening shots and after the ceremony. For wedding photography this is a great venue also because of the grand elegant white marble stair case which makes for great pictures.  It is great to have nice areas indoors not only if it rains, but also to provide a break from the sizzling summer heat for pictures.  During sunset we walked to the beach from some great romantic shots.
