Beautiful water scenery on wedding at St Pete Beach Community Center

Are you looking for a wedding venue with great water scenery, but not crazy about dealing with the crowds or the sand on the beach?  Check out this wedding at St Pete Beach Community Center, which might be the perfect venue for you.  It is located on the northern end of St Pete Beach, sits on the intracoastal waterway in view of the Corey Causeway Bridge.  It is probably the most convenient wedding venue on St Pete Beach, as there are no issues with parking.  The ceremony is in a open courtyard between the reception building and the recreation center.  It can get alittle windy through this corridor so be careful of setting up tall arches, however the view is great.  For a photographer we love a wedding at St Pete Beach Community Center, because we are shooting away from the sun, so it provides better contrast for your wedding photography.  The reception is on the 2nd floor and with some uplighting (which we can provide), it is a very nice spacious room.  It has a balcony for the cocktail hour so guests can relax with conversations, overlooking the intracoastal waterway.  The Corey Causeway Bridge makes a great background both day and night (if your photographer has the right equipment and lenses for it)

This was the wedding of Kaylin Hewitt & Justin Muhr.  We only had about 3 minutes for pictures after the ceremony as torrential rains came down, so it prevented any sunset pictures, however, we were able to get some great night shots near the Corey Causeway Bridge.  Kaylin chose turquoise & purple uplighting which we provide.  It gaved a nice cool metallic look to the windows behind the head table and the cake table.   Justin had some dance moves, which I might add, I have never seen before.  (see the video above).  Kaylin gaved us some time during the reception which allowed us to get these night shots.  It was very nice having a cooperative bride.  Sometimes on a wedding day, a bride will get so stressed about what is happening at the moment, and forget that, she has to give a photographer some time so that she can relive that day once it has passed.  The only 2 things you will have after the wedding are the video and pictures to help you remember that special day.  We walk a fine line as a photographer/videographer to try to guide a bride to take the time for photography, but to also allow her to enjoy her day.  For more information on having your wedding
